It is free to register on Your Choice Charities. When registering, you agree to the terms and conditions of our auctions as well as provide Your Choice Charities with valid contact information, including name, address, email address and telephone number and other information depending on the type of registration. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email from Your Choice Charities. and then have access to buy, sell and view current items.

As part of the terms and conditions of sale and buying, users are required to maintain contact information (e-mail address, mailing address, and phone number) up-to-date. Updates can be performed by the user by clicking on the 'Sign In / Sign Up' tab on the menu bar, logging on, then clicking 'Personal Information'.

Our Sellers and Charities comes from all over the U.S.. Your Choice Charities is where these various individuals and agencies liquidate their inventory due to a surplus, bankruptcies, personal estates, close-outs and more.

For the most part, all items are sold as is. Please read the Buyers Policy, Sellers Policy and Terms and Conditions of the auctions for more details if you haven't done so already.

Your Choice Charities has organized our online auction to make it easy to search a particular item. There are two ways on the main page to search. There is a Choose Category dropdown near the top right of the Home page with a search area next to it and a list of categories are on the left in a drop-down menu and after clicking you will see sub-categories or you can do a keyword search on the same page. For example, if you are looking for Loose Diamonds & Gemstones, click on Jewelry & Watches and the sub-categories will show and you then can click on " Loose Diamonds & Gemstones ".

Many companies like auctions, add a percentage to the final bid to offset costs which helps bring in high quality merchandise with no or little reserves. Your Choice Charities does not charge user signup, insertion or listing fees like most online auctions. Please see our Site Fees page. We do have a standard 6% sellers fee that covers our payment gateway and small administration cost.

Once a bid is placed, it cannot be removed or canceled, unless there is a gross change in the description of the lot. Buyers are required and recommended to research an item before placing a bid.

If enabled the site will use proxy bidding feature, on the buyer's behalf, when bidding on an item. When winning an auction via a proxy bid, the buyer will pay the lowest possible winning bid, which may be the same as the highest amount bid. Scenario: Buyer1 bids $10 and Buyer2 bids $15, with bid increment set at $1. Buyer2's bid will be increased to $11 to outbid Buyer1 and become the highest bid. The maximum bid is never revealed to other bidders and in the case of a tie, the earliest bid takes precedence. Note: Proxy bidding is a guarantee that the bidder (and winner) is always getting the best possible price.

Only registered users who have signed up with a Stripe Account can bid on any Your Choice Charities auction. To do this, first logon with your unique user name and password.

To bid in our auction you must first register. Until the auction is opened, you can only view the items. When the auction is opened, there will be a button for you to click on and bid.

The auctions generally are open from 2 days to 3 weeks depending on the sellers choice. Every item detail page displays the start and end date.

Buy It Now is the opportunity where a user can immediately purchase the item when Buy it Now is offered. There are no additional fees. Shipping costs may apply. When you click on the Buy it Now button, you will be directed to the checkout page to immediately pay for your item.

Once a Buy It Now item has been purchased, it cannot be canceled or returned unless there is a gross misrepresentation of the item or the seller contacts Your Choice Charities Administration during regular working hours with their (Sellers) consent. If buyer contacts Your Choice Charities, they must explain the reason but only after they have contacted the seller. I changed my mind, is just not going to do it.

Yes! At any time when the Buy It Now option is available, you can choose to purchase that item. Please be aware that the Buy It Now option is not active for the entire auction.
